Become a Toy Tidy Tester...

We have some very exciting news here at Toy Tidy this weekend. On twitter we follow some really fabulous bloggers and we love reading about the lives of real Mum's and what they get up too.

Therefore we have decided to launch our 'Toy Tidy Testers.' Thats right we want some 'real' Mums to test out our exciting products and then let us know what they think!

In the first instance we are looking for three Mums to become 'Toy Tidy Testers.' They will each review an exciting product from our website and report back to us on how they got on. After all what Mum doesn't have a need for a tidy house and a way of organising the mountain loads of toys that children seem to accumulate?

We don't know every blog out there at the moment so we are asking for your help. If you would like to be a Toy Tidy Tester please leave a comment below detailing the below...

Trunki Competition Winner!

We recently ran a competition to win a set of Trunki Toy Boxes and the winner was Jennie, or @edspire as she is known on twitter.

We were pleased that Jennie sent us a photo and we see that her twins are enjoying their new boxes- it seems like someone is helping tidy up!

Toy Tidy Goes Historic!

Here at Toy Tidy, we like to get around. Not content with providing fantastic storage solutions for your average family home, we recently sold some products to a rather large, grand home- Hampton Court Palace. Yes indeed Toy Tidy have gone royal- although in actual the fact the Royal Family left the palace in 1737!

Hampton Court ordered our rather fabulous Roller Storage Unit which comes with 2 units included. These fantastic units are incredibly sturdy and easy to move from place to place as they have wheels. They are priced at a very reasonable £98.67 especially when you consider you are getting two of them. Here they are in action at the Palace.

What we love is that Hampton Court have customised their units with writing- what a clever idea! You could use it to write your child's name or another phrase or saying.

Hampton Court are really pleased with their roller storage unit and here at Toy Tidy we love to hear that people are happy with our products. If you haven't been to Hampton Court we suggest you pay them a visit- there is loads to see and do including their world famous maze, Henry VIII's Great Hall, sixty acres of gardens and lots of family friendly activities. And while you are there see if you can spot a little bit of Toy Tidy amongst the historical heirlooms!

A Review of Toy Tidy by Helen- Winner of our Fantastic Voucher Competition.

I recently won £50 to spend at Toy Tidy in a competition I entered on their new blog. I had considered buying one of these shoe wheels, a brilliant idea to store lots of shoes away tidily. I figured though that if my kids can't even put their shoes in the shoebox we have, or in pairs just inside the garage door where we leave the overflow of shoes, I doubt that they would bother to open the shoe wheel and put their shoes inside.

Instead I opted for some Trunki toy boxes in blue for Jack's bedroom as they were at that time on a great special offer at £29.99 for a set of 3 - a great saving on the RRP of £20 each, and a Toy Tidy skip which I thought would also be great for Jack's bedroom. Unfortunately soon after I'd placed my order Helen from Toy Tidy contacted me to say that the 2 skips left in stock were both damaged and she was unable to get any more in, and instead asked me to choose something else. In the meantime she would send my Trunki boxes to avoid and delay receiving them. I decided that I would get some more of the Trunki boxes but this time in pink, for Hanna's bedroom.

My first lot of Trunki boxes arrived within a couple of days and after filling them with toys I realised that they would be a perfect fit to go on the Ikea shelves in Jack's bedroom. I decided to contact Helen again and ask her if I could have some more blue boxes instead of the pink ones I'd asked for. This was no problem for Helen and she quickly replied to me letting me know that more blue boxes would be back in stock the following week and if I was happy to wait she would send them as soon as they came in.

The following week Helen emailed to let me know that the boxes had been delayed but she would let me know as soon as they arrived, which she did. The boxes arrived a couple of days later and, just like the first, were extremely well packaged.

Jack was excited to get them out and upon seeing them exclaimed 'OH WOW, I Love those boxes'.....one happy boy.

I've found that since having all the boxes in his bedroom, with toys sorted into cooking, cars, Peppa pig, dressing up and another for miscellaneous toys (and one for blankets) Jack likes to keep his bedroom tidy and insists on putting all of his cars away before he goes downstairs.

Toy Tidy have a great range of Children's furniture, Toy Storage, Toy Boxes and other items . I particularly like this Catch-All play bag - perfect for lego lovers.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Toy Tidy to anyone, both for their variety of products and their excellent Customer Service.

Hello and welcome to our new blog- a place where you will find all the latest going’s on in the world of Toy Tidy and of course some interesting thoughts and ramblings from the Toy Tidy Team.

Who are Toy Tidy I hear you ask? Well we are a family run business started by Helen way back in 2002. Having become a mother Helen realised that she did not want to go back into the daily grind of full time employment but needed to do something to earn a living. Helen discovered a gap in the market for a company who provided a wide range of storage solutions for children, without having to search through lots of different websites. Not long after Toy Tidy was born!

Toy Tidy provides a complete solution to all your baby or child’s storage requirements, whether it be for nursery, bedroom or playroom. We even have practical solutions for when you are out and about in the car as well.
